Every year in the first quarter of the New Year, we hold a kick off meeting for all 120+ members of the company to review the previous year’s achievements and recognize staff during our service awards portion of the event. We fly in all of our neighbor island staff and agents, so we can meet face to face and catch up with those we don’t see as often as we would like.
However, a large portion of the meeting is dedicated to outlining company goals and initiatives for the current year. This year, we brought in Diane Paloma, CEO of Lunalilo Home and Trust, as our key note speaker. Diane did a fantastic job of helping us establish our core values in relation to achieving our ambitious 2020 goals. She also discussed how each member of the company plays an integral role in helping Atlas create a positive and meaningful impact on the Hawaii community and our clients.
We capped off the morning with a team building activity to highlight the strength of working as a team and the importance of sharing the workload in working towards a common goal.
