If you’ve met virtually for a business meeting, a pau hana with friends, or to talk story with family, chances are you’ve used Zoom at least once to do so. While Zoom has quickly become the go-to video conferencing platform, major security flaws have been exposed.
Cybercriminals have aggressively targeted businesses through sophisticated-faux Zoom meeting invites to steal passwords of employees by using threatening scare tactics. Although, Zoom recently acquired an identity management company in order to address its platform security issues, it remains to be seen if the acquired company’s security technology can be implemented at scale.
